So what exactly is mindfulness? Jean Kristeller, PhD defines it as “the moment to moment non-judgmental awareness of the stream of thoughts, feelings, physical sensations and experience them in the moment, acknowledging and accepting them as they are.”
I am a certified mindfulness teacher, with a specialization in mindful eating for binge eating disorders and emotional eating. I teach meditation classes in the community and in my counselling practice to support clients to develop awareness, personal growth and change.
