Hi, I’m Ashley.
I’m a Certified Clinical Counsellor offering in-person counselling services in Kelowna, BC. I also work online with people living in remote communities where counselling resources are lacking, or with people who prefer to work with a counsellor outside of their community.
I have a Masters in Counselling from Acadia University. I primarily work with people living with an eating disorder - those who binge eat, stress eat, or experience emotional eating. Because of an emotional link to food, I also work with people experiencing anxiety, stress, and depression. And I enjoy helping people create and live a more balanced life.

I am trained in Mindfulness-Based Eating Awareness Training (MB-EAT), one of the only evidence based programs developed to decrease binge eating behaviours and improve one's relationship with food.
Anxiety & Stress
Do you constantly worry about what may happen? Are you stressed out when things don’t work out perfectly? Does it make it difficult to get through your day? Does it prevent you from doing things or going places? If any of this sounds familiar, it might be anxiety.
There are lots of great resources to help you work through anxiety. I am here to help you look at your worries in a different way and strategies to work with the anxiety.

Modern life can be challenging. A woman is under tremendous pressure to be the perfect wife, mother, friend, daughter, employee … the list is endless. A man today is also under constant pressure of expectations to be a great husband, father, provider, invincible, and stoic.
